But she never acts on her supposed thoughts until after she came back after disappearing for a few days. Something may of been off before, but now it was obvious. Everything jumped from an 11 to a 16. Even more morbid and more hyper, she quickly earns her name Magicmonster. While still able to hold strong connections to others, they'll think them hollow when they're anything but. Her emotions aren't as complex as one would think, she says what she thinks and is a horrible liar. She always give her prey the fair chance to beat her, and respects those that do.

[b]Backstory[/b]: Born a Sunclan cat, she is a high spirited and devoted she-cat with a bright future ahead of her. Known as Magicnight. However, one day she goes missing. Little does anyone in Sunclan know, she was captured by the League. Losing her battle against the punishment district, it appears her life was gonna be cut short. Until, she gets to make a deal with the devil. Coming back, she appears the same, but there's a new darker side to her. Earning the switch to Magicmonster, she continues being loyal to Sunclan and the Sun God, but is consistently doubtful of herself

Are you afraid of the boogeyman? Ants crawling up your skin? Slowly tearing you apart without you even realizing? Hehe. Anyway, my hunting crouch has gotten even better, huh? You didn't even see me! Slinking along the shadows is my specialty. This black coat is useful for something. I can see it now. I'm following an intruder in the shade of the trees. And then, I pounce like bam! We fall, tumble down the hill! Snow whips up around us! Fwoosh! Haha. And then, they break their neck on a rock like kachow. I know, I know. It's real cool. What's with that face? Too much? She's friendly, bubbly, outgoing, calm like the surface of the ocean. She speaks in a soft voice and runs with limitless energy. But underneath her emotions swirl enough to make anyone sick. Her mind feels like it's on a constant stutter, and she'll feel like she's always two steps behind. She has a hard time processing information. She never really knows how to react to things. She may laugh while in danger, tilt her head in confusion when the answer is obvious, or be completely unphased by something surprising. For the most part, she falls silent, never sure what to day and if it's the right thing to say. Paranoia follows her closely, and while she doesn't plan ever action, she's pretty hesitant about just everything. She gets overwhelmed easily, and short circuits if she can't process it all. Hates the feeling of being left behind or too stupid for the group. Gets frustrated easily and tends to lash out when she does, but apologizes right after. Very booksmart and able to memorize Waterclan's entire territory easily.

[b]Bio[/b]: Rain. It's wonderful and fierce, wouldn't you agree. Think about it. It can bring life to a wasteland, dead grass will gulp it down and become green, soon rich with life. But it can just as easily shatter the ground underneath it, leaving a wake of destruction in it's path. Truly marvelous. But, as all things, it never lasts. Eventually the rain will give way to sun and the night to day. The cycle will continue, ouroboros will continue to eat it's tail; never satisfied, and life will go on. Appearing like a sky full of clouds with the sun breaking through them, she'll charge through the forest like a typhoon and sit patiently for a fish by the river. Her words can be sweet or sour to the tongue, hard to get used to. She sometimes suffocates under her own waves, but always is able to wade back to shore. The water will calm soon, but know it won't belong until it rages again.[/div]

Bio: Ah. Hello. Come a little closer so I can get a better look at you. And leave the leaf alone! Welcome to Summerclan, my name is Osirisgaze. Can you tell me why you crossed the border? Oh. Because I asked you too? Well, that just proves you a good listener, no? So what was your purpose in approaching said border? Need to see Doestar? Huh, he sure makes some friends in strange places. Well, no time to dilly dally, let's go. It's nice here, isn't it? A little hot, but you get used to it. I feel bad for everyone with longer fur around here. Mine's a little thick, but it's white, so it at least doesn't hold any heat. Though curse these eyes of mine, I can never see a darn thing in this light. That's why I have the leaf. How'd I get here? MAIN HOUSE

“If you want to keep a secret, you must also hide it from yourself.”

Where the nemesis and warden reside each with their own room. The shaman, mage and assassin also find solace within the walls of the main house.

HAUNTED BY
THE ILLEGITIMATE CHILDREN : the children that were sent away or left to wither away within the main house after their father scorned their presence. Only have time for the children he was allowed to bring out in polite company. Their childish laughter and smothered sobs can be heard haunting every area of the main house.

THE HOUSE ITSELF : not only do spirits roam the sprawling estates grounds but the buildings themselves seem to carry the malevolent energy from their previous occupants. It's as if the layout itself changes, or the house itself plays with the occupants brains. Who is to say; did the occupants drive the house mad or did the house drive the occupants mad?

THE GREENHOUSE

The nemesis' playground

Once overgrown and a haven for small prey creatures, the abandoned green house still kinda looks that way, but inside you'll find a sprawling garden with enough prey to feed the league for like a day. Cleaned up by once Shaman Funk E'tan, glass is still sprinkled along the ground in some places and thick foresty vines hang low, but it and the garden behind it are thriving better than they have in moons. Entering the greenhouse gives one a sense of secrecy. Like just by being hidden within the thick foresty they are breaking rules. It emboldens ones youth and almost makes one think anything is impossible. Of course, messing up any of the plants in there is possible but will result in being publicly executed by Funk E'tan. 

HAUNTED BY
THE YOUNG COUPLE : THe son of the estate owner used to meet his ill-fated lover within the sanctuary provided by the greenhouse. Knowing his father never wandered within it's walls. Until one day his love cut herself within and died of the ensuing infection. Their ghost still meet within.

THE ESTATE

The sprawling manor show from above where the Primal Instinct cats have now settled into their home.
It serves as the devils playground for those within the league. A maze to outsiders and a prison to those who wander into the walls unprepared.
Each floor is held by one of the proxies where they rule over the cats within the districts; a kingdom of their own within the empire that is the league. Some guard their floors more possessively than others.

THE WAILING WOMEN : said to have been a former mistress of the estate owner. Said to have been drowned in the reflection pool by the estate owners hired thugs when he tired of her.

PREY : many cats will think they here the squeaking of mice or the flapping wings of birds. But there are no scents and when they follow the sound they find no prey. It is now known that there is no prey to be found at the reflection pool.

THE DEMON: Unable to leave the grounds that hold the crypt unless it is the night of the new moon. But particularly strong within the crypt grounds, able to drag cats down the stairs and into the basement level with the coffins. Able to shut and lock the doors preventing escape. It torments the prisoners and often drives them insane.

Laying along the left side of the territory speaking towards the other Revolutionary groups that haunt the land in that direction. Sparse trees with little foliage a stillness hangs here that spooks the younger cats and drives up the elders paranoia.

THE HOUNDS: the owner of the main house was found of dogs, and had many. Using them for hunting but treating them as pets. The animals ever faithful still haunt the grounds waiting for their owners return. Their bays and barks can be heard all throughout the hours.

D I S T R I C T S

Internal Affairs District

SENESCENECE'S DISTRICT
With a focus on Primal Instinct itself, the cats of the Internal Affairs district keep an eye on the ongoings of the clan itself. They are the Sentries who guard the Estate, and the patrols that deal with threats on, and within the borders, from predators, to rogues, to revolutions and wayward murderers. They wander the darkest corners of the hallways, and the hidden places of the territory the other districts could only hope to find, and most importantly, they are tasked with knowing what goes on in the lives of the cats of the League itself. From mundane comings and goings, to dearly kept secrets, if it happens on League land, they are sure to know. Funk can’t be having a civil war on his paws, now can he?

CULTURE
The Hunters of the Internal Affairs district are incredibly observant, stealthy, and beyond all else, secretive. Information about the secret passages, territory discoveries, and information they obtain about the cats of the League is given to others on a strictly need-to-know basis. Cats from the other districts are often met with stony silence or roundabout conversations so as not to reveal what they know, to the point the enforcers have trouble at times figuring out exactly what knowledge these cats have access to. However, they talk freely to each other, and to the Warden and Nemesis, as these cats are their superiors, and always intended to be in the know.

THE RULES
RULE ONE : Once per moon, one cat in the district may challenge the reigning Proxy for their position as Proxy over the district. It is a fight to the death, and if there are multiple cats wanting to challenge the Proxy, the opponent will be chosen at random.

RULE TWO : All information, whether mundane or important, must be brought to the reigning Proxy first before any other cat within the district. They will determine whether the information can be shared, or must be kept between the two of them.

RULE THREE : The other districts are not to know what goes on in the Internal Affairs district, with the exception of the Warden and Nemesis, unless told otherwise by the reigning Proxy.

RULE FOUR : Infighting and Spying on members of the district will not be tolerated.

RULE FIVE : One cannot leave the Internal Affairs district except by promotion or death.

RULE SIX : The reigning proxy may add, change, or delete any rule set up for the district, so long as it is approved by the Nemesis.

THE FOURTH FLOOR
The Fourth Floor is the most densely packed of all the districts, once the wing where the maids and house staff resided, high up where the towers and attic themselves are located. It is a maze of slim, dark passageways, of secret hiding places, and the unseen paths are closely guarded secrets of the hunters within.

THE ROOF : The highest point of the Estate, save for the towers themselves, and belonging largely to the Internal Affairs district. It is most easily accessed from the few open rooms of the attic, and is the place where many of the district congregate. High up on the roof, cats both have the benefit of fresh air, and a distinct lack of eavesdroppers from the other districts, allowing the district the chance to talk freely between themselves. Careful though, one slip on a wet shingle, or a large gust of wind, can send cats over the edge of the roof to their death.

THE ATTIC : Given the size of the estate, there is no singular room in The Attic. A handful of rooms are servant quarters, and others still are large rooms filled with the Owner’s many things, from paintings, to clothing, to chests full of jewelry and unusable instruments. Only a small number are accessible from the Fourth Floor,which are used mainly as a way to access The Roof. In turn, The Roof is then used to access the rest of The Attic’s rooms that hide behind closed doors, lifted ladders, or crumbled sections of wall. Many of the secret passages are located here, and it is a popular place for both secret meetings, and training to take place, given the crowded area. Visitors to the district are not allowed to be taken to the closed off rooms of The Attic, except for the Warden or Nemesis, unless instructed otherwise by the reigning Proxy.

THE DENS : Located on the fourth floor itself, the hunters of the district have no set sleeping quarters. With as much room as they please, cats have set up wherever they find comfortable, whether that be in a servant’s bed or nestled up in a windowsill. Though not forbidden from doing so, Hunters are advised to avoid sleeping in the hallways or passageways, as the other members of the district have no qualms with simply stepping on those in their way.

THE BURNING TOWER : At the southern end of the wing, a large tower rises into the air, accessed by perilous steps, most of which are half-broken or rotting. Upon reaching the top of the stairs, cats are greeted with a decently sized room that once belonged to a head servant, fit with a desk, a small table for guests, a bed, and a crackling fire. When she discovered the tower, Senescence made quick work of finding a way to start a fire in the fireplace, and keeps it burning constantly, bathing the room in warm light that can be seen throughout the territory. Because of the difficulty accessing the area, and the access to the roof, Senescence has made this tower her den, and will meet privately with members of her district, or the high ranking cats of the League, here. It is one of the few places within the territory in which it is nearly, if not entirely, impossible to eavesdrop.

THE OTHER TOWERS : Unlike The Burning Tower, the rest of the towers are in far worse states. Crumbling and old, it’s perilous journey to the top, only to be greeted with drafty walls and floors that fall apart with the slightest touch. Because of this, they are used almost exclusively as Sentry points, places for the Hunters to observe the territory as a whole for threats.

THE COMMUNICATIONS ROOM : The District's best kept secret, hidden even from the Nemesis and Warden of the group. This attic room is incredibly difficult to get to, one of the secret rooms of the house, accessible only via a broken piece of a uniquely shaped fireplace poker that is kept up in the Burning Tower. Cats are only allowed to enter with the company of Senescence, and hunters are forbidden of speaking of the room's existence, not only to other districts, but to the trainees of their own district. This is because, inside the windowless room, the district keeps an up to date record of all the information they currently have of each and every single member of the district, Nemesis included, encoded in such a way that only the hunters and Proxy of the district can truly understand it. In the event a member of the district is promoted, or a cat not of the district discovers the room, everything within is to be destroyed, a new code created, and a new communications room chosen.

Punishment District

INNOCENTIA'S DISTRICT
Prisoners while not something the league seeks to gather, instead they are something that seems to simply happen. They are a tight knit group of cats, often bonding close through the united goal of making others suffer. By nature cats who join are typically the sadistic and unfeeling, these cats enjoy fresh meat in the Crypt, and operate more like a pack of wolves than demons.

They’re loyal to one another in a dysfunctional family kind of a way. It’s no surprise that they look out for one another when their place of business, the Crypt is haunted by the Demon. Surprisingly these cats while cruel in punishment are typically more considerate than other league members taking pleasure in playing around with their prisoners like pets in their free time.

Usually prisoners are brought in by Internal Affairs or the hunters of the Clan/rev group district, either for these hardened cats to rip information free from stubborn mouths or to be guarded away within the crypt until they are deemed 'freeable'. They spend much of their time around the crypt and or testing out new methods of delivering pain or scaring others.

CULTURE
The hunters of the prisoners & punishment district are cats who aren't afraid of hurting others or being hurt in turn. Amazing at compartmentalizing to separate the darker aspects of their district from their day to day routines. Tending to be perhaps more reckless and brash than the atypical secretive and sly league cat.

But they are the confident types who embrace this difference and let it embolden them. They are the type to push and push until they break through whatever has been blocking their way. This district is not for the weak willed, or weak stomachs. Hardened and dangerous like all league cats, but perhaps just a tad more vicious and rabid; only faced by the bravest or perhaps dumbest of cats. They are one of the only districts that actively mingle with Internal Affairs, despite Internal Affairs reputation for being snitches. This is largely due to Internal Affairs looking for information and if that information cannot open up the Punishment district all too gladly helps out.

RULE ONE : No cat is to enter the Crypt alone

RULE FOUR : Respect and kindness to one another is key, every week that you do a good job you get a shiny rock, if you get five shiny rocks you get a compliment and a day off! Maybe if you work hard enough you’ll get Punisher of the month!

THE THIRD FLOOR
LILY LOUNGE: Along the left wall a massive tree has crushed open the entire wall due to a particularly harsh storm ages ago allowing the space to double as a sunroom. Since then nature has flooded the interior. Bougainvillea vines and climbing hydrangea sprawl across the walls and flooring. In the open bathroom of the Lily Lounge is a bathtub full of rain water carried by heavy winds with duckweeds and water clovers inside. This is a particularly scenic common room for cats to lounge and chat.

ROSY ROOM: A beautiful room with fancy long carpets, a massive fireplace and large throw pillows and coffee tables sprawled about. At the back wall is a massive bed that stretches wall to wall, dozens more pillows line the backboard of the bed with thinly veiled curtains draped across. This is where the Punishers sleep

DARLING DIMPLES DUNGEON: This isn’t your average torture chamber. Enter and you’ll find what used to be a long mahogany wooden dining room with only the plush seated chairs remaining. A long carpet sprawls across the center of the room and a fireplace is seated in the back. Mounted onto the walls are heads of animals from past two-leg hunts only now the Punishment district has also decorated it with their own victims. Don’t be surprised if you find a few mummified or stuffed cats that look a little too close to your missing clanmate. This is where many of the cats in the Punishment district will seat themselves to judge how exactly to punish someone best. Once the decision is made they rip back the carpet to reveal a trapdoor in the floor where the real dungeon is. No sunlight exists in Darling Dimples Dungeon, what used to be a secret wine cellar is now full of ropes, chains, collars, and leashes and other nasty items to make you tick.

Foreign Affairs District
?'S DISTRICT
The League is thought of as the boogeyman of the Clans, the thing of nightmares and the dwelling place of monsters and ghouls; naturally, the Clans are wary of such creatures of myth and legend. But if they are going to be considered monsters, then they must be ready for the Clans and other groups to try and chase them away with the light. Thus, this District is dedicated to preparing the League for any such attacks or infiltration. Their focus is on knowing what the Clans are up to, their health and fortune, their ambitions and failings, and their current alliances among each other; if a Clan cat coughs, the Foreign Affairs District knows about it. Who's squabbling with who over a stolen mouse, who's fallen out with who over a pretty face, who's happy and who isn't - they know it all. They could be your closest friend or you mate of ten years; you won't know until it's far too late.

It is the duty of the hunters and Proxy of the Foreign Affairs District to know all there is to know about these other groups. The Proxy splits up the hunters and dedicates a few to each Clan/group depending on the amount of hunters under them at any given time.

Before Eshek, the Proxy was required to have kits with one Clan cat in a position of power (nemesis, warden, shaman) and have those kits grow up in the League, as the kits were potential bargaining chips. She did away with that rule. Still did it tho. This addition made by the Funk gang 

CULTURE
The hunters of the Foreign Affairs District are social butterflies and wonderful manipulators. They get under other cats' skin and lay roots, entwining themselves in stories and pretty falsehoods until they are so deeply interwoven they are impossible to separate oneself from completely and the line between truth and lie is irrevocably blurred. They will smile even through the most gruelingly boring conversations and are able to present themselves in many different manners. Being encouraged to form friendships for the sake of using the unfortunate cat, however, makes them rather distrustful of others, wary of all social connections; if they are lying, why shouldn't someone else be, too?

With Eshek's rise to power, the District has taken on a more hedonistic party vibe; morals are loose and the rules are even looser - staying out all night and losing your mind is encouraged, and if you can't scream and make the most of the never-ending sorority party with the fighting for fun and the pounding bass, you're not gonna fit in very well.

THE RULES
RULE ONE: She-cats of any Clan or group are not to be harmed except as a last resort; in the event that one is hurt, the offending party or a witness is to report the infraction to Eshek for appropriate punishment. Moreover, high-ranking she-cats - i.e. leaders, deputies, medicine cats - are off-limits, except in exceptional circumstances that are to be determined by Eshek or the Nemesis. Toms are fair game, but only if she League she-cat tasked with seducing them feels comfortable doing so; no one can be forced. Except toms. Eshek reserves the right to order them to do whatever she sees fit. Doestar of SummerClan is also off limits, for personal reasons Eshek would rather not talk about, thank you very much.

RULE TWO: All cats in the District must attend the monthly party and bring Eshek a gift. She will choose a date to take to the party each moon; said date will have access to the best food in the League for a week, caught by other members of the District, and may ask Eshek for one favour, big or small. To be chosen as her date, the hunters in the District must vie for her attention.

RULE THREE: No toms are allowed in Eshek's private room, except by express permission. If they must enter, they have to walk in backwards, go no farther than the doorway, and face away from her the entire time.

RULE FOUR: No member of the District is to harm another in Foreign Affairs. Eshek still knows a thing or two about torture, and the punishment for harmful behavior is... harmful behaviour. Everyone is expected to be friendly at all times, and always be up for a party at any time of the day or night.

RULE FIVE: Positive relationships with those in the Punishment District are encouraged; Eshek doesn't want any ill will between her cats and the cats in her little fluffy love's District. Positive relationships with members of the Ambassadors District, however, are frowned upon.

RULE SIX: Those joining the Foreign Affairs District must pledge their allegiance to Eshek separately (what can she say? The power's gone a little to her head) and endure a torture session to ensure they're able to hold their tongue under extreme pressure.

RULE SEVEN: The she-cats of the District have first dibs on the best sleeping spots on the first floor. Toms have to make do with whatever's left over, and if they're told to move by a she-cat, they must obey. They can and will be treated as second-class citizens, and she-cats are encouraged to take as much from them as they please.

THE FIRST FLOOR
ESHEK'S SUITE: In another life, she would have been a spoiled trust fund kid with a fancy mansion. The Suite is the next best thing. Located at the end of a long, light-filled corridor, Eshek's private room is painted a glowing, perfect white; shiny black floorboards that the trainees polish on slow days, a sleek crystal chandelier, white shutters on the windows, a marble fireplace, a bust of a beautiful twoleg woman, and a comfy pale blue chaise lounge beneath the window - it's all very expensive, darling. 

THE PARTY LOUNGE: An extravagant former ballroom with shining marble floors, floor-to-ceiling gilded mirrors along the walls, gold leaf on the ceiling, and a beautiful carved fireplace. It's a decaying sort of beauty, crumbling around the edges, and at night time, when most of the parties are held, very little light seeps into the room, leaving it shadowy and lit only by the flames of the fire - all the better for a bit of dark, hedonistic revelry, though. There's an old twoleg radio that blares pounding music come party time.

THE DENS: The majority of the first floor is at the entire District's disposal - though cats but be advised that their Proxy does have occasional temper tantrums, and they may be thrown out of the manor house at any hour of the day or night if she so pleases. Their home is a privilege, not a luxury. There are two abandoned children's bedrooms and a pretty, plant-filled sunroom to choose from. Funk was barred from entering said sunroom when he was Shaman but now he's Nemesis so screw you. I love you.

THE DINING ROOM: Where Eshek entertains any important guests, namely the Nemesis and Warden, and any other Proxies. It also acts as a campaign room of sorts, with speeches and orders being delivered here. Her seat at the table is a flaking golden throne with a red cushion that was found covered in dust and cobwebs in one of the children's rooms.

THE KITCHEN: A dark, crumbling, once-beautiful room overgrown with ivy. The cabinets are painted a faded green, the countertops are wooden, and the tiles are chessboard-patterned. It's slightly below ground level, so the only windows are high and narrow on the walls, looking out directly at the ground outside.

Ambassador District
EXSPERAVIT'S DISTRICT
The ambassadors district has the goal of simply knowing the loners and the rouges. Their ever changing outlooks towards the groups and clans that border them. They play friendly and make deals so as to better understand the neighbors that could be a threat should they decide to organize. They are deal makers with silver tongues and quick thinking.

Often if the league is suffering in numbers the proxy of the loners/rouges might go and have their hunters find kits to help bolster their numbers. They gather secrets from these cats that often come across all borders and know how to wine and dine them so to say.

CULTURE
Relaxed. The hunters of the rouges & loners district are self-assured and cunning foxes. They are able to sweet talk their way out of most situations and mishaps. Deal makers they aren't afraid to loose some to gain some. Taking risks for big rewards. Greedy they wish to know, and horde this information perhaps like the internal affairs district. But this information is usually stricly for their own benefit.

They know how the tides are changing and the way the wind is blowing. Hearing many tales and rumors but able to pick out the threads of truth and weave them together into one cohesive piece that lets them have a peak towards the way the futures seem to be forming. Either a quiet listener or a guileless trickster. Patient enough to wait for others to share or suave enough to have others telling them live stories without them realizing.

On the surface: A Scoundrel, a Rat, awful. He's like a trickster god given form. Most everything he does is for his own curiosity and Benefit. Almost all cats are just pawns to him, to be used and abused and then thrown away. Not even his friends or family are safe, only those he'd consider his equal which there's only been one. Thrives on bringing cruelty to others. Even when presented with his atrocities, he doesn't care. Has a superiority complex disguised as Narcissism. Always has some trick up his sleeve and a snarky comment in the back of his mind. Has a very dry and fourth wall breaky sense of humor. Pathological Liar. Addictive Personality. Obsessed with Medicine, he's constantly growing whatever he could find, And testing it on himself or others.

Underneath: Grown in an abusive and strict environment, he grew to relate Love with Pain and his successes were only successes if he was the best. Compared to his siblings, he's had to struggle and work to get any bit of affection and had little natural talent. His superiority complex gives way to an inferiority complex, and combined with a god complex leads to him being a mess of emotion. To where he finds the easiest way to deal with it is to suppress them. And no, he doesn't think he's spreading love by making everyone miserable. He knows his actions are wrong but at this point can't find it in himself to care. The easiest way to keep his inferiority complex in check was to stay in constant positions of power. Love equals pain is mostly in relation to himself. Can express Love with Pain but any pain at him or towards him reads as Love. Unable to take anyone's feelings genuinely because he's never genuine with anyone. A part of him fears actual gentleness and intimacy, but another yearns for it.

   Story So Far

Backstory

Born a kittypet, he had the means and the genes to become a great show cat. With High expectations thrusted on him, he quickly grew a disdain towards his parents and twoleg family. However, he wasn't content with the life and ran away with his siblings. They wandered the streets in their youth, raising hell wherever they went. But soon they went their separate ways. He went to an unknown clan, where he quickly rose to become medicine cat thanks to his smarts and genuine interest in herbs. But in reality, he wasn't led there because he wanted to heal. More a scientist and less a doctor, he wanted to experiment, discover just how far a cat could go. He routinely caused trouble until one day he poisoned his entire clan's food supply. When they woke up from their haze, the one named Cardinalflight was gone. He roamed the land for several moons, making gardens and homes, friends and enemies, clients and graves. Until one day, he was found by Sigmund experimenting on a cat that, unknown to him, was a direct descendant of Pampa, a once Shaman of Primal Instinct. Unable to resuscitate them, Sigmund dragged him back to the League. Mother E'tani, who knows Funk since he maintains the greenhouse, essentially punishes him by making him Shaman. He no like his job, but whatever. As time goes on, he falls into a groove, cleaning the greenhouse and being pestered by Eshek, but he still yearns to leave. Just when it seemed he'd get his freedom, it was taken away with Mother the day she vanished. The League turned to Sigmund and Lilith, who quickly disappeared too and soon he was the only higher staff left. Normally, a Proxy would be nominated for leader, but for who knows why, he was now Nemesis. While things went smoothly, Funk found himself falling for his pesterer Eshek, despite continually trying to kill it since he figures he has no chance. But the things we can't have, we always want more. As it turned out, Eshek surprisingly reciprocated his feelings, and she was with kits before long. It seemed Funk, despite everything, had a chance at having a Normal Life. Of course, fate had other plans. Shortly before she is due, Eshek is found hanging from a rope from the ceiling of the Estate, dead along with her unborn kits. His first time dealing with such grief, Funk was left in well, a funk. He would spend nights walking through the halls, not really going anywhere or doing anything. He attempted to work it out with flings, but they were only bandages to a stab wound. Or Gardening and medicating others, but his work became sloppy as he routinely zoned out. Finally, he found himself down in the crypt with Senescence and Innocentia. The demon gives him a deal; "For all the knowledge you chase after, all the power you fight for, and all the success you'd die for, offer up three things. A new plaything for us, a memory of the past and two of your lives. You have until you step outside the estate's line. Choose wisely." At first, it seems obviously not worth it. Shortly after, he is met by Octavia, once Heda of Absum Lux. After AL was ravaged by rogues and left to die by Peach, an old acquaintance of Funk's, one of the survivors urged her to help. She comes to PI, offering their land in exchange for PI taking in the remnants. While they could easily not, Funk agrees. After one final hurrah at the Estate, Funk makes the deal, giving his daughter Hayate, two of his lives and the backpack eshek had on their final adventure together.

Solarflare giving him a wicked smile before moving to sit in the shadows eyes gleaming as he waited to observe the rest.

Shaman Bio

Is there such a color that is darker than black? Our natural instinct is to go "No, of course not." because we would know, right? Like we are the most intelligent, fastest, strongest creature on the face of the earth. Like our experience is unlimited. But it is in fact very limited. We all see examples in our every day life, at how much yet how little we know about the world and others around us. Mutations exist, but we're so used to the status quo, we ignore them. Back to our first question, is there a color that is darker than black? We can still say no, but we can't deny it outright. So, next question; is there a cat that is too much for Primal Instinct. I know, it's crazy at first. We're talking the League, the boogeymen, home of kidnap and torture and death. Anyone who overwhelmed them with their niceness could simply be killed. But what if we had someone who couldn't be killed, because they held everyone's silver strings of life in their paw? Someone just as mad as everyone else, but up to an 11? Enter Funk, god's gift to cat kind. A mix of chaos, obsession and narcissism, he appears as an Adonis. Tall, dark and handsome. His short coat is painted with traditional bengal rosettes, a garden coated in auburn and black. But he also has tabby like marks along his chest, legs and head, scars of chaos. His muzzle is the only break, stained white like he drank bleach. Voice low and calming, perfect for bedside manner and feeding honey coated lies. Eyes light green like the color of sickness, one that fills your head and stuffs it up. It's hard to shake it out once you've been infected. Luckily, Funk traveled all this way to help you. Born a kittypet, he and his siblings raised hell and it wasn't long until the group went their separate ways. He traveled around until he joined an unknown clan, where he was reborn Cardinalflight and quickly became enamored with the world of medicine. A fast learner, he quickly made his way up to Medicine Cat. Though he had no interest in curing the sick. The opposite, he wanted to know how far he could go. He wanted to push someone to the edge of death, and then pull them to safety, only to shove them again. For his own curiosity, he's willing to do whatever to satiate it. No one was quite like Funk, and none were as important as him. So, he went his own way, poisoning the very clan that took him in. When they fog cleared and sight returned to them, he was gone. Like he didn't even exist. Several moons he wandered from place to place, building homes and gardens and whatever else he wanted. Friendships, enemies, whatever. No one's opinion mattered, he'd leave before they formed. Of course, he lured cats along the way, doing whatever it took to get something from them. He messed up, one day, when one of his victims turned out to be the last known direct descendant of Pampa, once a League Shaman. In frustration, the Warden Sigmund brought him to the Nemesis Mother E'tani, someone Funk was already doing work for. In a sense, he became Shaman as a way to repay his mistake. To make him look good to the League. But in reality, he did it for no reason other than curiosity and chaos. A chaotic neutral to it's finest form, not many trust him here, as they should. Even for some of the hardest League Hunters, he was too much. One to ramble on about the prison that is society, about himself and how great he was and about breaking them. Only break is the occasional dry and dumb wit which can give you a laugh, followed by a choking, of course. The only one he cares about is himself, and nothing will change that. Rather than go along with plans, he messes with them as much as he can. He'll steal, lie, torture and kill all for his amusement and nothing else. No one is safe, not even the Nemesis or the Warden. So why keep him? Frankly, those with medical knowledge are few and far between. And if you're critically injured, it's either go to Funk or leave the manor and die, so the floors have at least less blood on them. If you go, you'll find an extremely skilled cat, with a few unorthodox practices. His abilities are second to none. Shame his personality is so rotten. It's possible he's the sickest from his own methods and medicine. After all, he's up the eyeballs in the stuff. He hasn't changed much since his warrior days, except the name. There's no way one can see to lighten the darkness. Just like before, one day he will vanish, back to follow the wind as his only friend. For now, he's the League's trouble, and perhaps one of their best assets. Up to them to flip the switch. To dive into the black. To outsmart the Great Genius Doctor Funk. Oh... the doctor will see you now. May he have mercy on your soul.

Countless legends and tales circulate the clans and groups beyond about Primal Instinct, the boogeymen incarnate. Kits will lock themselves in to their nests as they tremble, recounting the stories of how they will come. How they'll kill or eat or torture you for your bad behavior. We are formed of blood and bone, born in a land where shadow rules and light flees. Leaving crimson trails wherever we go, the League only knows death and destruction. Madness and discord runs rampant, where the strong thrive and the weak are blown away like chaff in the wind. We stalk the nights like most do days, carefree as though we came from that darkness ourselves. There are simply too many variants to know where it really all originated. Though every story has a kernel of truth, hmm? You know, they say the scariest things in the world are formless, ideas and concepts you can never give a straightforward appearance to. But that's where the League differs. They look like you. They talk like you. They kill like you, and you will still claim to not understand them.

The reason cats join the League are about as vast as the ocean, depending on who you ask. Most are outcasts, those that could never fit into their previous home for various reasons. For their savagery, their genius, their ideals, their truth. Some are lost with no where else to go, others lie here due to loyalty or family. Perhaps we all gather together for warmth because no one else will get close to us. Who's to say? But everyone here is rising from their pasts, growing stronger till all humanity can be shed like fur. We are all reborn in the blood and fire of the League after all. You can say we all carry the similar goal of conquering those around us, proving ourselves to be that true form of fear.

We all unite under the Nemesis. The strongest and maddest of us all, Funk E'tan. Most Nemeses become said for being the most powerful cat in the League. However, Funk E'tan has done different. After several Nemeses and Proxies had been killed or disappeared, it was the outsider Shaman Funk who picked up all the pieces and is building the League to be even stronger than it was before. Those fractures are part of the design, not something to be hidden away. For we are phoenixes who will rise from the ashes no matter how many times we are knocked down. Some may not care for him due to his unorthodox methods and ideology, but all hold a certain respect for him. Cause if they don't, all hell will break loose to swallow them whole.

Change is a constant in life. As the world spins and we experience, we grow. It would only make sense for the League to continue to evolve rather than stagnating in the same old law. The old Warden position has been abolished by Funk E'tan, supposing that leaving the league in the hands of one was a fool's errand. Now, the four Proxies have been promoted to Wardens. Each of the Proxies are elite hunters chosen from their respective districts for their accomplishments and abilities. The next Nemesis will be chosen from the four.

There is also the Assassin, a single cat entrusted to protect the Nemesis' life -- not that they need it. The assassin is rarely seen in public -- they are spies by nature, and lethal when confronted. The Shaman is our healer, and the Mage works under them, both cats with life and death in it's paws. In the past, they could only be female, but Marchosais E'tan abolished that rule. They were also expected to be the daughters of the past Shaman, but Funk E'tan got rid of that rule. They work alongside the Pathologist and the Resident, two cats who study day in and day out to find the limits of the cat body and how far we can go.

The Hunters are the Warriors of our group, each separated into a different district led by a Proxy. Foreign Affairs spy on the clans so we can stay up to date on all the goings ons. The Ambassadors are our claws into the hearts of the loners and rogues, keeping track of their whims and how we can use them to our advantage should we need it. The Punishment district takes care of all our prisoners, they're the best at torture and drawing out information when needed. Finally, Internal Affairs scrutinizes everyone in the League, making sure all are on track and keeping any whispers of rebellion hushed. Trainees (apprentices) dedicate themselves to a district upon promotion. Younglings (kits) are our future and thus treated with enough care to make it to trainee-hood, but not enough to where we spoil them. We don't have an elder equivalent, as no one tends to survive long enough to make it.

You all know him. You all love him. You can't live without him. The mad doctor with a silver tongue and words laced with poison. The Cheshire cat who smiles with more teeth than joy and who's morbid curiosity will always lead him back no matter how many times he's killed. Addiction and chaos blend together, creating the black as night roast that is Funk E'tan. The base is surprisingly light and short, an auburn brown color like brown sugar and just as sweet to the taste with no scars to rough it up. Black rosettes like roses and stripes like blades of grass grow from this ground, swirling together along his slender frame. Topped with a muzzle as white as whipped cream. he is shockingly slim for a Primal Instinct cat, much less a Nemesis. But he stares at the world through light celadon eyes, the very windows to his soul appearing to be sick. It's a contagious virus he's spread over to countless victims and the like over the last few years. What the Nemesis lacks in physical prowess, he makes up for in cunning and strategy. Born a kittypet, he left that life out of boredom and joined a clan, but also ended up leaving that life by repaying their kindness and teachings with a mass poisoning of the food supply. Empathy has always been a stranger to him, divorcing the thought even more as he traveled anywhere he could; making medicine and giving it to anyone he could get to drink it with a little sugar. At first, he tested his theories on himself, ingesting anything he could get his paws on. But his immune system quickly caught on and now he can only get the same high if he watches someone go through it. To call him magnetic would be an understatement, all things good and evil are drawn to him. He fulfills his wish of maintaining the greenhouse at the cost of becoming Shaman. His kits thrive as other Nemeses die, leaving him to pick up the pieces. A crown was placed on his head as the corpse of his mate hung above his throne. Perhaps the reason they let him keep the position is because he keeps picking himself up after every blow, truly the embodiment of the ideals of Primal Instinct. A bright and hard working leader who takes no one seriously, who relishes in the pain of others, who will use and abuse anyone in his way until he just throws them away like scrap and could watch the world burn with no qualms. No one needs to know the desperation in drowning his emotions in any few inches of water he can find, the compulsive need to be in any position of power he can get, the constant lying and betrayal just to get no one to trust him and ridicule those that do, the throwing of his heart around just waiting for it to break again and to laugh it off. The karmic line between love and pain, genius and insanity, has blurred in his eyes, shaky and runny as they melt together. Constantly on the quest for knowledge, he'll continue to throw everything together without care. It's only a matter of time before it blows up in his face, but maybe that's what he's waiting for.

Oh goodness, Designer does not give a good first impression. She is overly shallow, more concerned with her looks and reputation more than anything else. She is a gossip, willing to open other's dirty laundry to keep herself in the shadows. She makes it clear she doesn't trust you and that she thinks she's better than you. Whenever she gets in trouble, she relies on her cute face and quiet demeanor to get her out of it. She's somewhat shy, but doesn't have many social issues. Maybe even too intuned to others around her.

Before joining Winterclan, she was in an abusive relationship. She only managed to get out of it thanks to her siblings. She fled to Winterclan because he notoriously hates the cold and holes herself up there to avoid him. It's unclear where Designer and the rest of her siblings were born. Somewhere in her early life, she met a person by the beach. She was smitten with them and it wasn't long until they had mated. But this cat abused and gaslighted her. She adopted a perfect mask in order to stay alive. Even when she got away with her siblings, she still is in full survival mode. Knowing they hate the snow, she moved to Winterclan. As grateful as she is for Winterclan and the few relationships she made there, she hated the snow and the cold. Too afraid of her ex, she resorts to joining the Era of Shadows in the hope the ex would be washed away or at least run off by it. But the Era failed, and she was talked out of it by Skipstep and Squirrelleap. At the end, she couldn't bring herself to go to Winterclan again. Choosing instead to join Nightclan as they were taking in the members of the era.

Primal instinct

where exactly brilliance came from is a mystery. born or brought to Primal Instinct, she was raised with the other younglings but never took to them. Mother E'tani saw her potential and took her under her wing, kickstarting her training. They continued to meet even after Brilliance became a trainee. One day, Mother left though and Brilliance was left without knowing where to improve from there. Her mentor, Kotori, did not meet her expectations. She continued her training in Internal Affairs until she met the Regime's Commander, Raijin, who convinced her to join the Regime. Brilliance accepts, and becomes a Spy, continuing her training.

A soft girl. She's not very intimidating despite being one of the taller cats in Dayclan. She's very warm, always one to strike up a conversation or keep it going. Going out of her way to make sure everyone is well cared for, she can only smile as they go off to do their own things. Sometimes, she'll help out in the nursery, patient and fun loving for the kits. She likes to come up with stories and games for the kits, or really anyone she can.

Brought to Primal Instinct by her father Houdini, Phantom-kun struggled to fit in from day 1. Naturally well dispositioned and kind, she doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Trying to make her more violent didn't work, and she was quickly changed to a punching bag. Picked on and friendless, she realizes she has no future in the League and leaves. After travelling for several days, she comes upon Dayclan with a broken leg and skinny enough to see her ribs. Found by Kasdeya, she's brought in. After being nursed back to health, Phantom-kun becomes Goldenpaw, quickly becoming extremely attached to her new family. But one day, Kasdeya and her go out on a patrol only for her to inadvertently get Kasdeya killed by a rabid fox. After dragging Kasdeya's body back to camp, she's found by glowstar, who brings her to the Moon Creek and asks if she wants to take Kas' place on Immortal Council. She agrees, but is haunted by the memories of the attack. She has trouble sleeping for several weeks. During that time, she becomes attached to a tom named Pythoncrush and better friends with her fellow council member Fia Cendrillon. Her feelings for Python fall off despite her wanting to set roots and they bloom for Fia.

Born to Vibrance with an absent father, Draculad and his siblings were rogues for about 5 moons before joining Sunclan. Of course, things were never as good as they seemed. Draculad, given the name Moonlitpaw, realized the dangers of the cult around him and fled after a few moons there. Believing it to be his destiny, he traveled around before saving a she-cat by the name of Nimue from a fox. She clung to him desperately after that, and the pair travelled as Draculad once again became discontent with his life. He devises a plan to steal kits from the various clans and take over an abandoned amusement park with them, but his plans were foiled after a few past victims rallied together some clan cats and chased him off. One of the cats was Duskslayer, a Sunclan warrior who recognized Draculad and dragged him back home to Sunclan. Perhaps furious, perhaps gracious, for an unknown reason the sun god named the traitorous Moonlitnocturne as a janus. His time as a Janus is pretty bad. Easily becoming the worst Janus, he tends to fall asleep during classes. Granted, Autumngossamer not doing her job doesn't help. He befriends his half sister Discordantkit but still desires to leave. When word reaches him that a group of cats are coming together to try and thwart Novaclan's plans, he quickly jumps on it in the hopes that Sunclan will flood. However, they fail and he leaves the attack with a torn ear from Jetclaw and in too much trouble. His punishment includes basically becoming his brother Bloodyrondo's hench man, having to do whatever he says. His friend Nimue also joins Sunclan, originally to get out but then she slowly becomes indoctrinated in Sunclan's beliefs.

Tuliplollypop is very fascinated with SunClan’s fantasized idea of love, which is in stark difference from her parents' more seductive romance. Winterclan

A child of a forbidden romance, her relationship with her parents was rocky. One day, her Mother and siblings simply disappeared. In a desperate attempt to commune with them, she ran away from Winterclan. Training under a mysterious entity known as Deja, she learns to commune with the dead. However, her ability is limited and she can only talk to their spirits in the plane between life and death. So if a kit dies, it will still act like a kit, even if she talks to it moons after. When she came back to Winterclan, she discovered her father had also died. For unknown reasons, even to her, she kills Deja. Her father asked her to go to Summerclan, to look after Doestar and their kits. Additionally, she is exiled for the supposed murder of her father. Forced to flee to Summerclan, this is where her story begins. But shortly after joining, Doestar dies. And when she's getting close to the new leader, Basilstar, she dies as well. Now convinced she's cursed, Spectreslight is torn between staying in Summer or leaving. Eventually, word spreads to her about the Era of Shadows. She joins in the hope that erasing the clans meant that the ghost remnants would disappear and she'd find a purpose. Unfortunately, the Era lost and Spectre left Summer in fear of getting punished. She wandered for a moon or two before meeting Leviathan, who brought her under his wing and into his cult. After he took over Moonclan, she became MCA.

A Scoundrel, a Rat, awful. He's like a trickster god given form. Most everything he does is for his own curiosity and benefit. Almost all cats are just pawns to him, to be used and abused and then thrown away. Not even his friends or family are safe, only those he'd consider his equal. He thrives on bringing cruelty to others. Even when presented with his atrocities, he doesn't care. Has a superiority complex disguised as narcissism. Always has some trick up his sleeve and a snarky comment in the back of his mind. Has a very dry sense of humor. Can never tell if he's lying or not but he's probably lying. Has a magnetic charm that attracts others to him. Obsessed with medicine, he's constantly growing whatever he could find, and testing it on himself or others. He's overly laid back to where he appears careless and incompetent. Is actually a hard worker, once maintaining several gardens across the clans and now works on things behind the scenes. Able to keep his cool in almost any situation.



Underneath:

Raised in an abusive and strict environment, his successes were only successes if he was the best. Compared to his siblings, he's had to struggle and work to get any bit of affection and had little natural talent. Which leads to him overworking himself to exhaustion. His superiority complex gives way to an inferiority complex, and combined with a god complex leads to him being a mess of emotion. He can barely read his own and finds himself equating them more to medical conditions to actual emotions. To where he finds the easiest way to deal with it is to suppress them. He doesn't think he's spreading love by making everyone miserable. He knows his actions are wrong but at this point can't find it in himself to care. His lack of empathy is astounding. The easiest way to keep his inferiority complex in check was to stay in constant positions of power, so he has little intention on letting his title as Nemesis go anytime soon. Unable to take anyone's feelings genuinely because he's never genuine with anyone. Nowadays, he tends to throw his heart around and just wait for it to break, unable to find it in himself to care. A part of him fears actual gentleness and intimacy, but another yearns for it

Born a kittypet, he had the means and the genes to become a great show cat. With High expectations thrusted on him, he quickly grew a disdain towards his parents and twoleg family. However, he wasn't content with the life and ran away with his siblings. They wandered the streets in their youth, raising hell wherever they went. But soon they went their separate ways. He went to an unknown clan, where he quickly rose to become medicine cat thanks to his smarts and genuine interest in herbs. But in reality, he wasn't led there because he wanted to heal. More a scientist and less a doctor, he wanted to experiment, discover just how far a cat could go. He routinely caused trouble until one day he poisoned his entire clan's food supply. When they woke up from their haze, the one named Cardinalflight was gone. He roamed the land for several moons, making gardens and homes, friends and enemies, clients and graves. Until one day, he was found by Sigmund experimenting on a cat that, unknown to him, was a direct descendant of Pampa, a once Shaman of Primal Instinct. Unable to resuscitate them, Sigmund dragged him back to the League. Mother E'tani, who knows Funk since he maintains the greenhouse, essentially punishes him by making him Shaman. He no like his job, but whatever. As time goes on, he falls into a groove, cleaning the greenhouse and being pestered by Eshek, but he still yearns to leave. Just when it seemed he'd get his freedom, it was taken away with Mother the day she vanished. The League turned to Sigmund and Lilith, who quickly disappeared too and soon he was the only higher staff left. Normally, a Proxy would be nominated for leader, but for who knows why, he was now Nemesis. While things went smoothly, Funk found himself falling for his pesterer Eshek, despite continually trying to kill it since he figures he has no chance. But the things we can't have, we always want more. As it turned out, Eshek surprisingly reciprocated his feelings, and she was with kits before long. It seemed Funk, despite everything, had a chance at having a Normal Life. Of course, fate had other plans. Shortly before she is due, Eshek is found hanging from a rope from the ceiling of the Estate, dead along with her unborn kits. His first time dealing with such grief, Funk was left in well, a funk. He would spend nights walking through the halls, not really going anywhere or doing anything. He attempted to work it out with flings, but they were only bandages to a stab wound. Or Gardening and medicating others, but his work became sloppy as he routinely zoned out. Finally, he found himself down in the crypt with Senescence and Innocentia. The demon gives him a deal; "For all the knowledge you chase after, all the power you fight for, and all the success you'd die for, offer up three things. A new plaything for us, a memory of the past and two of your lives. You have until you step outside the estate's line. Choose wisely." At first, it seems obviously not worth it. Shortly after, he is met by Octavia, once Heda of Absum Lux. After AL was ravaged by rogues and left to die by Peach, an old acquaintance of Funk's, one of the survivors urged her to help. She comes to PI, offering their land in exchange for PI taking in the remnants. While they could easily not, Funk agrees. After one final hurrah at the Estate, Funk and the rest of the league leave. Though during the celebration, he consumates a relationship with Foxstar, resulting in their litter. While Funk doesn't take the deal then, he still sometimes feels a presence pressing on the back of his mind. The remnants of Absum Lux weren't so taken with their new neighbors though, and eventually formed a coup. While Primal Instinct could take them, a fight became unnecessary as Foxstar came and showed them a vision of the Sun God eating Wanheda. While his skies were now the Sun God's, Funk has shown little interest in following him. Yet some of AL beg him to protect them from the Sun God. And he can only try. As the moons stretch on and he meets more people and has more flings, Funk finds himself growing attached to this little group he leads. But one gathering, the moon disappeared and a voice spoke from the heavens of the clans needing to come together to stop a flood. At first, Funk believed it to be aliens. As you do. Whispers of rebellion floated in the League, but he did little to stop them. When the time came for all the clans to come together to stop the flood, he was led off track by Kotori. Who told him that Glowstar's brother Sean was the main reason for her breakdown during the gathering. His suppressed emotions for her came flooding through and he invited Sean away from the group to interrogate and fight him. It was more talking though as Funk somehow managed to work through his feelings and admit he loves Glow to Sean. Of course, Glow overhears and comes and says she loves Funk too and the clans are saved and we're all happy. Till one day Funk manages to go to Dayclan to visit Glow, where he is then killed by Shule. Sean's mate, for hurting Sean the other day. This is the first life lost. When Funk comes back, something in him has changed. His vocal cords didn't come back quite right, leading to purring being painful. He's also left with a scar across his throat. At first, he covers it up with a red bandana Fox found for him. Though he eventually finds other accessories, a hatred for the Regime begins to take root in his heart.
